Here’s my illustration of one of my favorite looks from the 2022 Met Gala. Laura Harrier embodied the Gilded Glamour theme. Her silver and black custom H&M gown featured a built in corset, and was paired with a chunky multi strand pearl necklace. The overall look managed to fit the theme, but still felt modern and fresh.
Strong, bold and sexy. Jennifer Lopez was nothing short of divine in this Balmain dress, which was custom made to fit the “Heavenly Bodies” theme of this year’s Met Gala. The dress was embroidered with jewels and featured an ostrich feather train and a thigh high slit.

Here’s my illustration of one of my favorite looks from this year’s Met Gala, Blake Lively in Atelier Versace. This custom gown features a plunging neckline and is draped with gold chains. Also, the train of the dress is adorned with feathers in stunning shades of blue. This Versace dress is beyond exquisite!

Every first Monday in May, I have a standing commitment to obsess over all the glamorous and sometimes over-the-top looks from the Met Gala red carpet. And without fail, I always find it impossible to select just one favorite red carpet look.
This year, I opted to draw Kendall Jenner, who looked stunning in Versace. Full disclosure, this is the second year in a row that I’ve drawn Kendall’s Met Gala look. But there was something so effortlessly sleek and glam about her look, so I couldn’t resist drawing her.
