As soon as I saw pics of Gigi Hadid wearing this outfit in the Spring 2016 Balmain show, I just knew I had to create an illustration featuring this look. I adore the “too glam to give a damn” vibe that Balmain exudes, and my goal was to capture that feeling in this drawing. Also, the Balmain aesthetic is all about embellishment and extravagant details (as evidenced by this graphic metal skirt), and I seem to have this odd obsession with rendering intricate details.
Zendaya has been killing it at Paris Fashion Week. Although it’s hard to pick a favorite look, I have to admit I’m a bit obsessed with this look featuring thigh-high boots. She strikes a perfect balance between lady like and sexy with this Lacoste gray collared dress and coat paired with thigh-high black patent leather boots. This is definitely a look I plan on stealing this fall.
The Atelier Versace Couture Fall 2015 collection was ethereal and downright sexy. Although Versace is known for a bold sexy aesthetic, this collection was more glam fairy than edgy vixen. The dresses were floaty and light, but featured strategic skin baring cutouts-because it is Versace after all.
